Lucy Shuker - Proudly sponsored by H&HH & H are very proud sponsors of Lucy Shuker and we have raised £15.5K to date towards her Paralympic journey.

Lucy Shuker is a three time Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis Player and Double Paralympic Bronze Medalist.

Lucy started playing wheelchair tennis in 2002 after she was involved in a motorbike accident which left her paralysed from the chest down. Having previously played badminton for Hampshire, Lucy’s acquired racket skills have proved to serve her well in her subsequent tennis career; whether it’s deft net play, exquisite angles or subtle drop shots you’re looking for, there are few better than the current British No 1.

Despite being the most disabled of the top flight of players, Lucy’s attitude and dedication to the sport has enabled her to remain ranked inside the world’s top 10 for much of the past decade as well as compete at all four of the major tennis grand slams.

Lucy is an inspiration to many and is passionate about helping build the profile of disability sport around the world. With her sights now firmly set on more success, Lucy is working towards the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games in search of more medals and H & H Concierge are proud to be supporting Lucy on her journey.

2019 – Our target

We will be helping Lucy Shuker launch her foundation for disabled tennis and sport. We will be hoping to raise £20,000 for the foundation.

The foundation will focus on giving back to a sport and community that has given Lucy so much since her life changing accident in 2001. The money raised will help support both adults and children affected by spinal cord injury and provide them with opportunities to access sports wheelchairs and the facilities to use those wheelchairs.

Lucy will be aiming to launch her foundation at Chiswick Riverside Virgin Active in Autumn 2019. Virgin Active has taken a lead role in supporting Lucy not only financially but also by encouraging and providing opportunities at their facilities for disabled tennis players.

Thank you again for all your support!
